“ October 2023, another late night in the studio, it was raining heavily, big storm.
This « ambient » sequence was running from the MS20, with no beat, and I just stared at the window with this voice going round in my head « It’s the mechanic of your power »
Like the urge you have to tell someone, the power they have over you, that electrifying feeling.
How much you desire them, how much it burns inside.
And the right person for the video, was Sarah-Lou Sasha Maarek. 
We shared our mutual respect and enthusiasm about each others work, around Summer 2023 . January 2024, I called her up and told her that I had the song, that would be the perfect fit. She loved the track and from then on, just pure chemistry.
She came up with the idea of a dual aesthetic, dark and authoritarian, inspired by constructivism, exploring various scenes blending sensual hallucinations and terrifying surrealism, through the lens of a BDSM relationship.
We then spent long hours on the phone, sharing all our cinema, books, art refs and it just kept growing.
Every test she sent me, I was floored. How she got the song, and what I’m about.”

Octobre 2023, une autre nuit tardive au studio. Il pleuvait à torrents, une grosse tempête.
Cette séquence « ambient » tournait sur le MS20, sans rythme, et je fixais la fenêtre avec cette voix qui me revenait sans cesse dans la tête :
« It’s the mechanic of your power. »
Comme cette urgence que l’on ressent à dire à quelqu’un le pouvoir qu’il a sur vous — cette sensation électrisante.
À quel point on le désire, à quel point ça brûle à l’intérieur.

Et la bonne personne pour la vidéo, c’était Sarah-Lou Sasha Maarek.
Nous avions partagé un respect mutuel et un véritable enthousiasme pour le travail de l’autre, durant l’été 2023.
En janvier 2024, je l’ai appelée pour lui dire que j’avais la chanson — celle qui serait le parfait accord.
Elle a adoré le morceau, et à partir de là, ce fut une pure alchimie.

C’est elle qui a imaginé cette idée d’une double esthétique, sombre et autoritaire, inspirée du constructivisme, explorant différentes scènes mêlant hallucinations sensuelles et surréalisme terrifiant, à travers le prisme d’une relation BDSM.
Nous avons ensuite passé de longues heures au téléphone, à partager nos références de cinéma, de livres, d’art — et tout n’a cessé de grandir.
Chaque test qu’elle m’envoyait me laissait sans voix.
Elle avait compris la chanson, et compris ce que je suis.
