MadLab1 gather pieces of a story, allowing to enter a forbidden altered reality referencing the alchemist
recipe of the artificial man. The guests will be visitors of this mise en scene, linking the sacred and the uncanny
as the first ingredients of an ontological reflection. The two pieces displayed use symbolic materiality of
forbidden places, fertile for creative horror and terrific wonder - either a scientific laboratory, a slaughterhouse -
staging the audience as a witness of unsolved mysteries.

MadLab1 rassemble des fragments d’un récit, offrant une entrée dans une réalité altérée et interdite, faisant écho à la recette alchimique de l’homme artificiel. Les invités deviennent les visiteurs de cette mise en scène, où le sacré et l’inquiétant se rencontrent comme premiers ingrédients d’une réflexion ontologique. Les deux pièces exposées mobilisent une matérialité symbolique issue de lieux interdits, fertiles en horreur créative et en merveille terrifiante — qu’il s’agisse d’un laboratoire scientifique ou d’un abattoir — plaçant le public dans la position de témoin face à des mystères irrésolus.
