I turned toward the intimate and the unconscious, descending into the deepest layers of myself to grasp how one might fall into the void of irrational devotion. At the core, I found only murky water, restless and opaque. I dived in. Fears slowly transmuted into fascinations.
Since then, all I desire is to be tortured by the Sublime. Revelations became an obsession, always imminent, never complete. I question whether transcendence exists at all, or whether the pursuit is the true design. I have heard that when men long to become the Creator, the Creature is destined to be a monster.
